NISSEN (2025)
Public Artwork, Reading, UK
An immersive Nissen Hut, the temporary steel structure within which Polish refugees began rebuilding their lives in the English countryside following WW2. Set on the eve of Polish Midsummer Festival, immersive projection and spatialised sound inside and outside of the Hut transported audiences through time and space, creating an evolving patchwork of intimate insights into the Polish diaspora experience following resettlement.
