Creative Producer / Studio Manager

I’m looking to work with an early-mid career creative producer / studio manager part-time over the next 6 months (roughly 1-2 days / week) to help deliver two large-scale, participatory public art projects, and explore new opportunities for work and exhibitions.

I’m hoping to work with someone who is eager to expand the practice together, with opportunities for ownership and development of future projects.

Skills, attributes & experience:

  • Assertive, confident and organised.
  • Comfortable and enjoy working with a diverse range of community participants, clients and collaborators.
  • Passionate about working with communities through art.
  • Interest in art and culture, immersive media, architecture, natural landscapes or forestry.
  • Strong verbal, written and visual communication abilities with an eye for detail, and preferably some experience with video editing.
  • 5+ years experience working in arts / culture / music / tech / environmental sector.
  • Ideally based in or close to London.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaising with community groups, clients, subcontractors and collaborators via email, video-calls, in-person meetings, and (most importantly!) over the phone.
  • Organising, attending and occasionally facilitating meetings, site visits and workshops.
  • Writing and editing applications and proposals.
  • Editing presentations and proposal documents.
  • Seeking out new opportunities for commissions or exhibitions.
  • Community and collaborator research.
  • Attending community and site meetings.
  • Drafting RAMS in consultation with subcontractors.
