This research project presents the fundamental street infrastructure of our cities; roads, pavements, and associated systems, as malleable. The premise of this exploration is that dense, equitable cities, with clean air must be our future, which means a radical redistribution of street space; from the car, to pedestrians, bikes and public transport. This project visualises the forceful breaking of elements that seemed previously immovable - parking spaces, kerbs, crossings, access to cars - and imagines a future exhibition of these artifacts looking back at the era of the car-dominated street.
