108 Steps (2018)
Public Artwork, Macclesfield, UK
108 Steps captured a week in the life of a historic staircase in Macclesfield and projected it back for the public to experience. During the three-night installation over 2,000 residents came to view and interact with the replaying, and in 2019 the project won the London Contemporary Art Prize public vote award.
The project was the result of a residency exploring the public spaces of Macclesfield, and was commissioned by SHIFT and Cheshire East Council with support from FutureEverything, Barnaby Festival and Arts Council England.
